Good questions
Which abacus does 123OnAbacus teach?
A soroban — the modern Japanese abacus with four earth beads and one heaven bead per rod. Its place-value design is what makes mental math click later on.
Does my child need to read?
No. Every instruction is spoken by Nova and shown as a picture, a number or a pulsing bead. Text appears for co-reading grown-ups, never as a barrier.
What happens when my child gets it wrong?
Nothing scary. First a subtle bead highlight, then clearer guidance, then a full demonstration by Nova. Mistakes are quietly tracked so parents can see patterns in the dashboard.
